LAKI Trade Centre at 59 Róbert Károly Boulevard was handed over on 1st of October.
The LAKI Trade Centre built in the place of the LAKI Exhibition Hall represents a new dash of colour in the world of office-blocks in Budapest.
In the busy main road of District XIII, the building recalls the architecture of Chicago in the 20s and the 30s. With its front covered with limestone and the glazed surfaces connecting to it, the building represents a characteristic spot in the well-developing part of the Róbert Károly Boulevard, and fits well the pulsating life of the busy street. Instead of disturbing it, the constant hum of car, tram and bus traffic rather contributes to the dynamic, vivid atmosphere the designer wanted to create.
On the ground floor and first floor of the building exhibition rooms were opened, including the Hacienda Furniture Saloon and the luxurious car saloon of the Car Company, and in January the newest LAKI Exhibition room will be opened where visitors can find, in addition to the already known LAKi products, other decors, curtains, textiles and draperies as well.
On stories 2-7, offices will be placed, with the Credit Suisse Life & Pension Insurance Company among them. The LAKI Trade Centre will receive visitors from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
